The Committee for Sickle Cell Care Manchester as I have a genuine desire to support the ethos of the organisation.
In the main this conditions affects people of African Caribbean heritage, and as such, unfortunately there appears to be limitations on treatment and a lack of knowledge around the condition. I also have family members who have Sickle Cell Anemia so l have a personal interest .
I believe SCCM is providing a crucial service to the Community, and I whole-heartedly give my time and effort to this organisation.”
