Our fundraising partners are very important to us. They help to raise awareness of Sickle Cell Disease as well as providing us with much needed funds that we can spend on helping more people and making life easier for people living with this challenging blood condition.

Boxing Fight Night
Ex boxer and gym owner Bobbi-Joe Edwards held the first community fundraising boxing event raising funds for Sickle Cell Care Manchester on 18th June 2022.

Join the Manchester Sickle Cell and Thalassemia Centre Monday 19th June from 10am-4pm, for the Manchester Sickle Cell & Windrush Celebration event. Listen to patient journeys, young people’s experience, the future of sickle cell and a reflection and celebration of Windrush.

African Diversity Celebration and Family Picnic
On 4th June 2022 Lancashire Foundation held an African Diversity Celebration and Family Picnic and raised awareness of Sickle Cell Disease at the event.
Manchester Sickle Cell & Thalassemia Health Event - 23rd June 2023
Get along to the Manchester Sickle Cell and Thalassemia Centre Friday, 23rd June, 3-5pm for a health event where you can get a health MOT, talk to support services, take screening and get info on healthy living and eating with sickle cell.

Ever So Wonderful Variety Shows
On 19th February 2022 Ever So Wonderful (ESW) Variety Shows held an old style variety show at the Casa Theatre in Liverpool where they raised £123.00 for Sickle Cell Care Manchester. The second event on 16th July was equally successful.
